Three rates of taper - F, J and Y - are available to develop the required capacity in the desired bearing stratum.
Orders can be adjusted as to length of pile and quantity as the job progresses to meet actual requirements.
No mandrel or special devices needed. Readily available standard truck or crawler cranes can be used.
The tapered shape reduces concrete volume requirements and attendant costs.
Forged steel conical noses are factory attached and included in the price of all tapered sections. Heavy wall provides maximum tip protection.
Pile sections are self-aligning for joint welding due to telescopic design and fluted cross-section. Cutoffs can be reused to extend other piles and to minimize waste.
